The Frequency Channel Arrangement Plan (the Channel Plan or the Plan) is one among essential contents regulated in the Viet Nam’s Radio Frequency Spectrum Plan for Services which was promulgated by Prime Minister in Decision 85/1998/QD-TTg, April 16, 1998.
The Channel Plan is aimed to establish is aimed to establish order usage of frequency channels, to harmonize standard for radiocommunication systems and to avoid interference between equipments, systems and networks. The frequency channel arrangement plan is to provide orientation formanufacturers, exporter and users in manufacturing, importation and investment of equipment; used as ground for regulator to arrange orderly and to manage effectively the use of each frequency band.
Along with Viet Nam’s Radio Frequency Spectrum Plan for Services, the Frequency Channel Arrangement is aimed to contribute to development of radiocommunication networks towards modernization, comprehensiveness and stability; suited to international trend; satisfy communication demands of social – economical development, national defense and security; provide ground for information society in early of 21st Century.
